The Brain - Part 8 Sleep Deprivation Part 1

Your brain doesn’t discriminate when it comes to sleep deprivation. It doesn’t care whether it’s because of work commitments, a big night out or your sick child.

We understand that there will be occasions out of your control but if you neglect your sleep quantity AND quality frequently you will have your health to pay.

Lack of sleep reduces activity in the hippocampus of the brain as well as disrupting the genes involved with your circadian rhythm making it difficult for you to complete tasks, focus, retain memories and solve problems.
