ARTICULATE YOUR FEELINGS

Whether you confide in a trusted friend/ family member, speak to a professional (which I highly recommend at least once a year, to do a check in with a licensed mental health professional), or journal; it is important not to bottle up your emotions.


If something is going on with you internally or you are being affected by something someone is doing/ an external event it is important to communicate this and seek out help if you need it.


You don't get an award for suffering in silence and if you are struggling there is no shame asking for help. If you have been holding things in for a long time it might seem inconceivable to reach out to someone but once you do you will feel a weight lifted off of your shoulders.
