MAKE GRATITUDE A DAILY PRACTICE

Life isn't always going to go as you hope or expect it to but in almost any situation we can find something to be grateful for.

In grief we can be grateful for the memories we have; when work is difficult we can be grateful that we have a job at all; when training feels incredibly fatiguing we can be grateful that we have a body that can do amazing things.

That is not to say that if you are in an uncomfortable or toxic situation you should force yourself to stay out of gratitude but remove yourself and be grateful instead for the lessons that you learnt and the knowledge of what you will and won't accept in your life.

Make gratitude a daily practice whether you speak it aloud, write it in a journal or focus on it on your commute to work.
